Creating a Backup of your Joomla! Site
To create a backup of your Joomla site, log into your CloudAccess.net Cloud Control Panel (CCP). Log in using the email address and password you used to register your account. Once inside the CCP, select the site you'd like to work with using the site selector at the top of the page.
In the Manage Backups area, click on the "Create Backup" button. Determine which type of backup you'd like to create. We recommend making a "Full" backup. This means that you'll create a backup of both the site files and the database. You can also select to create just a site or database backup.
Wait while your backup is created. Backups are usually created fairly quickly, but the time it takes to create a backup can vary depending on the size of the site.
We'll let you know when the backup has been successfully created.
Your backup will not appear in the "Manage Backups" area. Using the "Actions" drop-down menu, you can restore the full site, the site files or the database from the backup you created. You can also download or delete the backups for the site, the files or the database.
